Ponca City has the closest motels, its about 12 miles west of Kaw City, I think all the campgrounds are still closed around the lakes as well. Hope that helps you Varmithunter.

I put a few brush piles out early this afternoon, then met Dstreet and his daughter about 3:30. Not as good as yesterday but still good. Haven't counted em yet but probably kept 30-40 and threw quite a few back. Darrell's daughter, Kayla, caught a bunch, and is way prettier than her Daddy!
