I fished Kaw today too. Caught 21 and kept 6. Just enough for dinner, and man were they good!:biggrin

Is there any motels around there to stay in.Too old to drive that far and back in one day.
Ponca City has the closest motels, its about 12 miles west of Kaw City, I think all the campgrounds are still closed around the lakes as well. Hope that helps you Varmithunter.
Hey fellas, got off duty a little early today so I called my old man. We have never fished the lake any help would be greatly appreciated. And as always if y'all see a couple fellas in a camo Lowe stop to say hello!
I put a few brush piles out early this afternoon, then met Dstreet and his daughter about 3:30. Not as good as yesterday but still good. Haven't counted em yet but probably kept 30-40 and threw quite a few back. Darrell's daughter, Kayla, caught a bunch, and is way prettier than her Daddy!
Nice fish and a nice change of pace from our usual fish models crapA. (-:
