Ranger is correct I have showed him this technique in action, the only thing I have to add would be the thickness of the brush. If it is big stuff such as big trees it works great, if it is smaller limb stuff its becomes more difficult. We use hooks and sinkers, no pre-tied rigs. The key is to tie your hooks only one inch from the main line, this keeps the baits verticle. The deeper we fish the heavier the sinker. 2-4ft-1/4, 6-12ft-1/2,12-20-3/4, 20+1ounce. Its funny when I guide this technique I will not let you grap the pole until the pole is hung so bad the tip is in the water, the reason is the fish sometimes get them unhung for you! EB
