Thanks for the tips guys. So how many hooks will you attach to each pole?

Great info Brian. Thanks. Looks like I need to buy some more weights. All I have is a bunch of half ounce.

I've done my homework on it and when momma lets me get my boat next year I'll be putting it to use! I read awhile back and have been putting it to use that when you get hung up, don't go yanking the pole to free the line. This has the potential of scaring the fish. I can only imagine what this does to the brush pile in the water. Simply pull the line until it either unhangs the hook or snaps the line.
Fished the upper end today covering water with the rack's and poles out using 6. Ended up with 19 after the lightning and rain tailed off. Fish came from 2' to 10' DOW. Was fishing the rigging poles 5' to 7' deep in water that was 7' to 10' deep. Caught a few pitching cork and minnow rigs in shallow water also. Was tipping beavers with minnows under a cork, and then just a straight minnow. WT was 74 degrees today...Ranger

Why they call you Nipp?
Sent from my dad gum phone..
Ciller we use two hooks per line, 8 poles 16 baits in the water! The basic three rigs are Kentucky Minnow or jig rigs, tandem jig rig, and the Capps and Coleman minnow rig. Remember that crappie like slow sutle movement, don't go too fast. Especially when you are around brush piles. EB
Just clillin on Gibson and a beautiful day on the south end. Water Temp was 75 on the south end and the water level looked about normal again. Thats about all I know about that til after the TOURNAMENTS......Ranger![]()
