Probably like many, I didn't go out this morning due to the unpredictable weather. Anxious to hear if anyone else did and what the results were.

On another note...is it that nobody is fishing much now that it is Summer, or is everyone just reluctant to post now?

I went out yesterday, started at the dam where we caught 6 before moving on. All of those were in the 8-9'' range and they all went back in. Hit several spots that were holding fish but nothing was biting. Threw minnows and jigs with no real success. Windy all day which doesn't bother me and Jon, some of my best days have been during the heat of summer numbers wise that is. I have much better luck on size during the cold days of winter. I'm going to try and get out a couple of days this week before the weekend. No plans on going there next weekend at all!

I'll bet Snaylor is catching fish. I miss your posts S. As a former lake resident I loved hearing about someone doing well on T Bird where I was just starting to find the good fish when we moved back home to BA 35 years ago. Hope to see you on here soon.

Went out yesterday from 8-11. Just a few largemouth on 2" chartreuse swimbaits, no crapps. Heading up to Grand Lake for the 4th and I'll be trying my luck up there. Fishing report looks good so I'm optimistic I'll be able to pull up a mess for my girlfriends folks

You and about 10,000 other folks will be on Grand this weekend, so good luck with that and stay safe and wear you PFD for sure!

I guess I may have to go and hit all my spots soon as it seems no ones fishing T-bird these days?

I haven't been out there for a long while. My efforts have been concentrated on trying to crack Wes Watkins due to having a lot of standing timber and my boat not having a fish finder up front. Without a finder I'm fishing blindly so the timber is cover I can easily locate without one. Been saving my lunch money for a side imaging finder for next year.
