Oh, I know they have a few big ones - it's just that you have to wade thru all the 6-9" dinks to occasionally get a few keepers. Thunderbird is considered a dink lake by ODWC. It has gotten a little better since they started the Saugeye stock some years back. A 17" Crappie would be a lake record at Thunderbird. As I recall, the biggest certified was a skinny 16+" a few years back and the current lake record is 16". Measure, weigh, photograph.
