I fished Monday 10-6 caught a lot of small fish.I was able to keep a pretty good mess of STINKERS.Fish are in 8 to 12ft. on brush or stumps.Had a great day after starting out bad with a blowout on boat trailer.I am taking a couple of men from church out Friday and try to catch them enough for a fish fry.I just love this time of the year,NO JET SKIS AND WAKE BOARD BOATS!!!!.Water temp was 75 when I started and 77 when I quit. When I started it was pretty slow bite, hardly any wind.Later in day the wind picked up out of the East or slightly SE,made the fishing or the biting GREAT!I had moved up toward the river{west end of lake}to my honey hole I found back in the summer 12ft of water then 10 ft now,The fish are still there and I got bit almost every cast fishing a black/chartruse shadpole very slow over rock and logs.I will get back and give a report after Fridays trip!

Nice guys. Wish I could get out from 10-6!!! I have to squeeze a 2-3 hours here or there. I need to get out there during the the weekdays. Last weekend was stacked with fishermen and some spots looked to close for comfort for me. All fish I was catching were deep too. I had to drop bait to bottom and slowly retrieve. They either hit it on the way down or on the way up. Mostly on the way up. Never got to the West side of the lake last time out as I figured it was stacked with fishermen too.

I still have some 2.5" sample packs and will have 3" and 4" ones too this weekend. If you want a pack shoot me a pm. You can request a color too. Number is 405-301-5771. Call me if you like.

Just how far can one travel up Rock Creek (Twin Bridge area creek)? I see on Google maps a boat pretty far up it.

If you can find the channel and if you have a flat bottom or the water is up you can go aways !! There used to be a place off Anderson road that you could pull over and carry a flat bottom back off through there but they put a stop to that

    Thanks.

Had a rough day on the water yesterday morning. I should have waited to go in the afternoon or at night. It was cloudy out, cold and water was a little rough. Not many people out fishing. I tried everywhere I knew. I dipped trees, drug brush, hit the dam rip rap and grates, shot docks, twin bridges and only managed a few dinks and a couple 9-10". Crappie must of been out in open water but I don't have electronics to show me this yet. Usually pics are posted of big fish but I thought I would change it up and post a pic of little fish. This was a 3" Mo Magic on a 1/16 oz size 1 weedless jig. Bait was alomst as big as fish. No need fishing with tiny bait. lol

I'll bring you some to camp since this mold doesn't give me fits like my Jacobs does. I also thought I might be able to cut the barb off or block it out on the mold when pouring. Dunno yet. But I can definitely bring you some with barbs to camp to see if you like em.

Nip, I've caught some MUCH smaller than that! Some have had to negotiate space on the hook from a minnow. But it's all fun!
