SNaylor, I didn't mean to come across as if I doubted your word. My point was that any Crappie that size should be shared with all on the board. That's why we have the big fish thread. I always have a camera in my boat's glove compartment, in addition to my phone. I also always have a hand held electronic scale and a couple of measuring devices. Any big ones get measured, weighed and photographed (and anything approaching 16" usually gets released.) I may not always post them but if I mention it in a thread I'll put a photo up. Ranger, EB, and Odie always show some great photos, among others.

By your techniques I meant things like minnows vs jigs, structure vs shad schools, etc. You seem very successful at Thunderbird - not looking for gps coords, but more how you do it.

The current lake record was caught in the Spring 4 years ago near Twin Bridges. It is 16", 2.9 lbs with a 15.5" girth.
