I almost forgot since we moved....for those of you wanting something to read during this Cabin fever period, there is a FREE online Crappie Magazine.

Even though I don't fish like these guys, or like their "style" of fishing, or lure choices....you can still get some good ideas, or basic behaviors, and patterns of Crappie, to help your learning process. You take the key ideas that work in your situation, and integrate that knowledge into your system, to benefit your style.
Ron Capps has some good thoughts about fishing for Crappie that I also share...basically he says, no matter what the weather, you can catch fish, if you understand what they are doing....you also need to slow down to a crawl during this time of the year, etc.

You also have to remember that sometimes IN CERTAIN ARTICLES they are talking about tournament fishing, this means that they are SEARCHING for QUALITY over Quantity...where you normally would be thrilled with a limit of 11 inchers and catching 200 fish, they may only be looking for EIGHT 3 pounders all day.

If you have any questions, just throw them out and we'll see if we can help!
