The 4 have nothing to do with LA. Have to be OVER 12". Keep 15.

    Default Crappie rule changes

Sent Mr. Pugh a letter tonight. Everyone with a concern about the changes should do the same.

Emailed Mr. Pugh now, asking for the pole limit to be raised from three poles per angler to five poles per angler.

They should ignore all of the inputs outside of what the biologist recommend. They're supposed to be the experts. All fishermen are biased whether acknowledged or not. Its like asking people what the speed limit should be. I'm sure truckers, cab drivers, motorcyclist, teenagers vs. elders and the average Joe will have a different set of circumstances to debate. Just make a darn decision and roll with it.

So we just accept whatever they say????? No how this country was founded and hope that we can at least have an input.

Some would argue you had your input when you voted. Your elected representatives write the laws and set the parameters for the decisions that are made..

And here is where you are mistaken, not the first one of these folks making this decision are elected, they are appointed by the Governor or hired by Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks.
Please don't get me wrong, I am not saying they are wrong, I am saying I don't like it and see no need for it to start with, the size limits and creel limits are set, how many ways do we need to control things. I applaud the hard work of the MDWFPs and am just acting within the guidelines the Commission and the MDWFPs have set for us. This is much like voting, just like voting we can voice our thoughts and opinions and if we don't so so then we should have no complaints no matter what comes down.
