I have done a lot of cat fishing on the rivers and keep 10 to 20 lbs of bait alive at a time with a few bubble boxes. Trick is bottled water frozen and well water. U can treat tap water if u have no means of well water. Like other people have said there's a ton of different routes but here's what i did. Took small flip top cooler, drilled hole in top, applied two sided Velcro to bubble box and color, ran hose through cooler and then to bubble box, added 2 D batteries that last 24 hrs to 36 hrs. Pretty simple and don't have to worry about the 12 volt thing.
