Its also excellent for cutting the bottom of door jambs when laying flooring. Makes a much smoother cut than the rotory style with small saw blade on them.

Whew Glad that over with... Looks Good. When you show the picture of the pipe and T inside the wall I started looking above the T. I was wondering why there were water marks above the T on the sheet rock? Stains like that usually come from water leaks ...either the roof or above piping. Just say'n

I got to use mine Saturday when my wife stepped through the ceiling in the atic. It cuts dry wall nice and smooth. Just got to get a new piece, cut it to shape, screw it it, then float it and paint

DD, a little trick I learned years ago so the patched spot won't show. When you get the patch piece installed, cut the paper back the width of the tape on both edges. Float the tape in, let dry and float a second layer of mud in. Sand if needed.

If your walls are textured you can just feather is in and then texture to match. If its not then spackle or mud the cut sand and apply if needed then re-sand. Don't think you need the tape it for this small of a repair. If your sink or cabinet is covering it I wouldn't work to hard at it. Matching your paint might be a bigger problem. Hopefully you have extra saved somewhere. Just make sure you mix it really well before you apply it. It you dont you can take samples of the paint to any paint location and they should be able to give you a close match.

Yeah I don't know about the stains either. We haven't had a leak that I know of. We have a new roof. I just figured it was moisture behind the mirror after showers.
