i am remodeling a bathroom. as i was pulling out the old vanity it caught the sink drain pipe going into the wall and broke it. i was thinking just get a smaller pipe that will fit inside the two pieces and splice them together. that will decrease my drain area but its just soap and water going down the hole. is this an acceptable repair?
