What E Z said. You will never find a piece of pipe that will fit tight enough inside the other. It shouldn't be very hard to repair, just make your hole large enough to work with. The rubber boot EZ was speaking of is called a fernco coupling, their is also another brand called a no-hub clamp.

You can make a coupling back to the original size PVC pipe used with this:



An inside fitting. Made for instances like that.

Just sayin. Oh and for those that don;t want anyone to know you used Duct tape. They make a CLEAR version. LOL

I'm agreeing with E-Z...the only way to do it right is to the only way to do it right is to cut out the Tee, and replace it. Often there's enough movement in the pipes that they will fit into the new Tee - if not, you will need to cut enough from one pipe to add a coupler and extension. On the other hand...it's only a sink drain, so duct tape would probably work for a long time - or until someone bumps it.

I looked at the inside repair fitting, and maybe they would an adequate solution for this. I haven't used one, can't vouch for it, but it does look promising. Just search internet for inside pipe extenders

Patch up the hole in the wall and just tell people that bathroom didn't come with a sink.

I've done it this way several times. Take a hacksaw blade out of the holder and use the blade if you don't have a sawzall. I always make my cuts about a 1/4' apart. Chisel out the 1/4' piece first. This makes room to get the remainder out easily.

First of this direction is only worth what your paying for it. ha ha. Don't know here the riser pipe is going but you will need to replace the T that was broken. To do that you can get a new T and you will need to straight couplings (unions) and two smaller pieces of pipe. You going to have to increase the size of the sheet rock by cutting it open. I would recommend looking on YouTube to see if you can find a video on this type of repair. Its amazing what you can find. That's easier than me trying to type out the step by step instructions. It will also give you a clearer picture of what you need to do. It not that hard and you can glue it back in and patch the sheet rock. If you go to Lowes or Home depot they will also help you and can better demonstrate what you need to do. Take you pictures of the situation with you.
