So if Feelay is doing it right, why do you want penalize guides by imposing more rules on them.
What kind of example should they be setting?

Feesh, Feelay and the other guides bring more revenue into the state of Mississippi than the rest of us put together. Would you want that revenue to stop because the guides aren't paying more than you and me for the privilege of taking clients fishing. That's kinda short sighted. You ought to try guiding if you truly believe that's an easy way to "pad" your income. Ain't quite that easy.
Oh no, the word ethics again!! Flinger all I'm saying is that guides would be protecting themselves from any Joe Blow who wants to call themselves a guide. Heck, if you own a boat and take a guy fishing we are all guides under the MS regs. A small set of criteria would only protect the guys doing right in the first place. I have read up on several states that have laws regarding guiding and they only seem beneficial to those in the business of doing it right. And btw, anytime anyone ever ask me about a guide in MS I always tell em John Woods or Carl Painter.
