I may just do that, I'm obviously onto something here. They probably need to require a captains license, insurance, and tax forms.

For all you gewbs that don't like guides, I have a question for you. Be honest now.

How many of you can say you bring as much revenue into Mississippi as Feelay does? Most clients stay from 2 to 4 days. That's several days of motel, cabins or campground fees. Several meals while they are here. And any adult beverages and night time entertainment. Hell, he's a one man tourist attraction. I'll wager that he brings much more revenue into the state than what he "pads" his wallet by using the state lakes. I'll also wager that none of you bashers pull in tourism dollars. Am I wrong?
    Waiting for it!

Who says they don't like guides?? I spoke with Carl Sunday morning and also with you about this flinger..... If you don't get some regs put in place for the guys who are doing it the right way now some GEWBER is going to screw it up for all of the guides in the future. There are becoming more and more folks who guide on a monthly basis it seems. If you don't believe me about getting the system screwed up just ask anyone who used to guide duck hunting here in AR 25 years ago and see what has happened to them now. Guides are high profile folks in the sport of crappie fishing and they need to be the ones setting an example.

I did not say I didn't like guides. I'm saying they should pay more for the privilege to use public waters to provide private income.

It ain't your falt, some people just can't take any type of opinion other than their own. We all know how this guide thing works. It's just like any other job that pays a lot of non reported cash, some folks are straight up about it others aren't. We have no way of knowing who is paying their fair share and who is not. There has to be some sort of regulations established for guides, just as commercial fishermen and professional drivers are required to provide.

    Still waitin!
Handi. AR has guide licensing. Hunting and fishing. It isn't lack of rules, regulation or license that created the problems in Arkansas. It was the lack of ethics from those that were licensed and regulated. Rules and regulations are only as good as those folks the rules apply to. So if Feelay is doing it right, why do you want penalize guides by imposing more rules on them.
What kind of example should they be setting?

Feesh, Feelay and the other guides bring more revenue into the state of Mississippi than the rest of us put together. Would you want that revenue to stop because the guides aren't paying more than you and me for the privilege of taking clients fishing. That's kinda short sighted. You ought to try guiding if you truly believe that's an easy way to "pad" your income. Ain't quite that easy.
