I suspect everyone twists some of the rules. It would be neat to hear from someone that follows all of them to the letter.
I just have one question to all this and it is being asked for my Stewpit buddy WB ( and , well, maybe me): What's a LIMIT??????
I DO know this relative to this subj, sort of: If you have 15 fish in the boat and keep fishin and start cullin, you in a heap of troouble. Mr. GJ told me under no uncertain terms when I asked the question: Once the fish hits your live well its your fish for the limit count. Catch him/her and let it off immediately, and I guess yur OK as long as you don't have 15 boated.
Seriously,m what's a limit?? WB's seems to be bout 1, and mine is usually round 6. Just askin....
When you pull crankbaits...the only one "fishing" is the guy steering the boat.

Feelay, exactly! That was my point. The cullen' better quit (if you cull at all) when the last fish for the limit hits the live well.
This thread reminds of one i read about. A guy and his wife go to the lake for a weekend,he goes out on lake fishing, wife sits on pier reading a book, a shorttime later hubby comes back to take a nap,so wife takes boat out,and all his tackle is still in the boat, she sitting out in lake reading her book, GW pulls up and asks can i see your fihing liscense? She replies im not fishing,gw says but you have all the necessary equip. lady replies if you give me a ticket i will file attemt ed rape charges against you,gw says i didnt try to rape you, lady replies but you have all the necessary eqipment. Gw scratches head, starts motor and leaves.
