Henry rifles are hard to beat, have one myself. And they are and ALWAYS WILL BE "AMERICAN MADE"!

Well Mae and I both had 2 bowls of the chili I cooked for about 3.5 yesterday afternoon. Besides you can get the best chicken fried steak in the world in at least a few hundred Texas restaurants. Bragging must be a Texas thing. HAHAHA.

Made me smile. You know you're in a real Texas BBQ place that has one of those on the wall. Seen plenty in my day. I was tempted, really was, to have that. Ann said no - she refuses to have anything in the house that someone has made a profit killing wildlife. I guess she does have a point.

I like this new mouse trap I have. We don't have mice in the house, but in the shop we do. Now, I won't feel so guilty:

AFC and NFC championship games today anyone watching and who ya rooting for. I am pullin for Denver this will prolly be Peytons last hurrah and I would like to see him get another ring and go out in style. Brady has enough already. In the NFC I like Carolina I think Cam newton is the best young sports role model in a very long time. ya cant help but smile when he flashes that big ole goofy grin of his and strikes his superman pole. I love seeing him give balls to kids. Since our division has been considered the cellar it would be nice to be represented in the big show. Thinking about heading out to get me a big ole po boy for the games and kicking back with a few beers.

Not me Cappy, been outside. Now taking a short break. That storm that blew through a couple of nights ago had some serious winds involved. Been on the chain saw and picking up branches, the first small bonfire started this morning:

I don't like to build them over 10 feet high at a time, so I'll continuing to feed this one.

You're definitely right about Cam Newton, a fine fella for sure.
