Some thoughts about the C.c events I attended in Enid, Miss. and Talquin, Fla. People are pretty much the same at all the camps. Goobers galore. lol. You can catch fish at crappie camps sometimes. You can eat really good at crappie camps. You can win some nice prizes(well some people can.lol.).You can learn how to spider rig and long line. You can be talked into buying 4 pole spyder loc's. Then you realize you need new and longer crappie poles. You can talk a really great crappie fisherman into trying a bait you tried and caught a fish on. Then he will catch some on it and thank you. But most important you can make lots of new friends. Like my friend Bruce told me, strangers are just friends you haven't met. You can also learn how much the head guber is respected and liked by C.c members. Mae and I had a great time except for the last 3 hours pulling the camper in the rain. I highly recommend trying to attend these events.

Looking back a couple weeks, I noticed RetiredRR, Joe, never posted about a significant event. He and lovely Ms Anna celebrated 51 years of marriage, with family in Oklahoma. Congrats, you two wonderful people from Mae and I.
