I was reading on another forum about a fisherwoman who dropped a $300 pair of sunglasses in the lake. It got me thinking of every thing I've dropped/knocked overboard over the years. That list includes:
Several pairs of sunglasses. One pair of floating sunglasses which blew off my hat going down the lake, never found. Three pairs of needle nose pliers, one 1/2 inch box wrench, Yikess, one BnM 16 foot PST trolling rod (found out they float), an anchor my dad forgot to tie on, my cooler, a Frabil minnow bucket, about a hundred hats, my sandwich a cell phone, a hand held gps. I'm sure that's a partial list but you get the idea.
Let's hear your all's. I know Bwillaub has a good one!!!

That was Barbie that donated the $300 glasses.
I have dropped a spinning outfit over, along with a fillet knife, Hats, lures that did not float. Worst thing was my fly reel came off my rod and went overboard. I was able to get it back, but when I did I had 100 yards of backing all tangled up at my feet. Took an hour to untangle all the kinks. Would have junked it if I had anymore on board, but it was either untangle or not fish.banghead

Speck call G3 and ask how many cell phones Nadar has in it. I know of two in two weeks......

TOO MANY IDIOTS TO FEW BULLETS
I almost knocked myself overboard last weekend while catfishing. I was drifting and got snagged, so I wrapped the 120lb braid around the reel couple of times and went to break the line. I pulled hard, line didnt break so I puller harder. line did break and I whacked myself in the nose with the reel! stumbled backwards and if it weren't for a buddy, I would have went in!
lets see here what else, many tools, pliers, knifes, truck keys, almost my fish finder, trolling motor foot controler(wireless), went to cast a catfish pole once and the line back lashed, reel locked up suddenly, and I lost my grip on the pole, oops! thermos, knocked my dog in once, and dropped a bowfishin rig in once, didn't get that one back either.:Hands Clapping
First time I went out in my buddy's boat and I really hadn't fished out of a bass boat much, so didn't understand where things should be put or how easily they could fly out .. anyway, left a fairly lightweight tackle box on the front deck and it was floating in the middle of Smithville within a couple of minutes, with $100 or so worth of brand new tackle sitting on the bottom. Thankfully, only one side of the tackle box opened. Oh well .. lesson learned and it's fun to laugh at now. The funniest part was I had a bunch of bobbers in there and they were all just sitting there floating in a big group .. I think my buddy's comment was "Nice bobber collection!".
fishin with bigby a year ago he goes flyin down the grand my p-can went flyin out it was empty but we were able to save it
