First time I went out in my buddy's boat and I really hadn't fished out of a bass boat much, so didn't understand where things should be put or how easily they could fly out .. anyway, left a fairly lightweight tackle box on the front deck and it was floating in the middle of Smithville within a couple of minutes, with $100 or so worth of brand new tackle sitting on the bottom. Thankfully, only one side of the tackle box opened. Oh well .. lesson learned and it's fun to laugh at now. The funniest part was I had a bunch of bobbers in there and they were all just sitting there floating in a big group .. I think my buddy's comment was "Nice bobber collection!".
