I almost knocked myself overboard last weekend while catfishing. I was drifting and got snagged, so I wrapped the 120lb braid around the reel couple of times and went to break the line. I pulled hard, line didnt break so I puller harder. line did break and I whacked myself in the nose with the reel! stumbled backwards and if it weren't for a buddy, I would have went in!
lets see here what else, many tools, pliers, knifes, truck keys, almost my fish finder, trolling motor foot controler(wireless), went to cast a catfish pole once and the line back lashed, reel locked up suddenly, and I lost my grip on the pole, oops! thermos, knocked my dog in once, and dropped a bowfishin rig in once, didn't get that one back either.:Hands Clapping
