Never lost anything fishing that I can recall, but duck hunting I have kicked an 870 over, lost headlamps, shells, knives, compasses, straps, etc. Most all of it I've been able to get back out of shallow water though

I have lost a few things, but mainly I just watch people fall off of boats. I've seen eddie and Hog both fall in the water several times. Hog seems to like 39 degree water the best... Crazy SOB.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I lost my wallet this year at sardis, quite a few multi tools over the years, a few pretty nice knives, dropped my truck keys in Enid one year, recovered those luckily! A pair of Costa sunglasses! All I can think of right now!

Add another to my list: SELF. Fell out yesterday reaching for a stump to put a line over so I could take a water/snack break. Foot slide right off the gunnel, SPLASH!
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

I did it, 1st week of March, Prairie Lee Lake. At the dock, 20MPH winds. Just lost footing, ended up on over the cliff between the boat and the dock, when I gave up, knee bent the wrong way. Couldn't walk well for a couple weeks, now Dr. wants to snip snip on it. Told him I'd give in to that some day.

If you don't get hurt, it's fine to jump in the water. Now falling into a livewell on a Ranger is far worse! Doing it twice, is priceless.
