Cook it would be like a cove inside of a creek. For Truman guys Cedar creek would be a god example. I like to fish the secondary points of the 3 coves on the left side. Can some one let my wife know that I was right about something for once.

She wouldn't believe it anyway Jared.

From what I found online, it would be any point that is not on the main lake. So any points in coves are secondary.

    Fishing 101
    By Dave Stewart

    Definitions of Fishing Terms

Here are some definitions of keywords you will commonly see in Dave Stewart's fishing report.

    Primary or Main Point
This is a point that is associated with the junction of two major bodies of water. If you were on the main lake traveling into Sugar Bay, the points on your left and right where the bay and main lake come together are primary points.

    Secondary point
Points that are in a creek, bay or on the main lake that are not associated with the junction of two major bodies of water. Besides primary or main points, all other points on the main lake and in the bays are secondary points. Many times I refer to secondary creek channel points in my reports. These are secondary points that are closely associated with a creek channel.

I also refer to secondary points as the points within a cove off the main lake or major creek arm .
I'm not an expert but the best secondary points I have fished are the subtle points in the back of a cove near a creek channel with a spawning flat in the back of the cove .

I always thot it was when a DB or Safety pointed to a Wideout or any other Receiver and declared him the next VICTIM.
