Right next to the bait shop where fishermen give back all minnows received over and above the allotted 12.000 per dozen- just to make sure they can say they aren't taking unfair advantage of the bait shop and to ensure they won't end up fishing with Satan in the afterlife!

Owning a bait shop is it's own bit of Purgatory. If it was mine and a customer chided me about "pet minnows", well, think I would have one less customer. Disease can wipe out your stock, weather can keep your customers away (even the good ones), and someone is always chirping why you don't open at 5 am and stay open till 9 pm. Then they want to tell you they can buy the latest whatizit bait for less through an on-line site. No thanks, I am happy someone else takes that stuff on. PS, I love Everhardts and feel fortunate to have them close by, and Tightwad C store, and the others.

Boy? I call my Grandsons boys..... As for settling down, I'm not excited at all. Just a little amazed that some people actually expect something for nothing in todays world. And you didn't say anything about Everharts being a bad store??? I believe you said they "sucked" to be exact. And it doesn't really matter whether it is about minnows or shots of whiskey. You are not entitled to anything more than what you pay for. Honestly I could care less about where you buy your dozen minnows. The only reason I responded to the post is because I own a small business and I know the value of a Good Reputation. And as you stated in another post on this thread, if you have been on the internet, and any forum, you can see differing opinions or what are called reviews. These reviews are seen by many, this thread alone has been read by almost 2000 people. All it takes for a small business to loose a lot of customers is one bad remark. Therefore, I felt compelled to respond to your original post that said "Everharts Sucked", by telling of my GOOD experience there. I'm not mad at you. Thankfully our constitution protects us all and we all have the right to express our opinion. And I know there are a lot of people reading this that don't buy "minners" enough so they too wouldn't understand the term "minner count" in the fishing world. Lol, Your a funny guy. This has been fun, but lets talk about those big Slabs you caught with those minners.
