Own a 94 Ranger Cherokee 207 aluminum with a Mariner 90. It's been a great boat but, I'm wanting to upgrade to glass. Getting old enough to enjoy the smoother ride and stability. Will probably buy a Ranger or Champion. Fished from both and are fine boats.

New to the site. Looking forward to the chatter on the board. Own a weekend home at LOZ and also fish Truman. Tight lines to all.

Welcome to the site from Truman lake. Great site with lots of great people and information. I have always run a Champion and love them. But you can't go wrong with a Ranger either.

I have a 2008 175 Lowes Crappie Stinger with a 50 hp Mercury on it. It is really wide in the rear and really does the job for me. If I had it to do over again I would go with 195 Lowes for the extra room. The best addition I made to my boat was my stainless steel prop. Makes the boat handle and get up on plane better. Even with just a 50 hp motor the stainless steel prop has made a great difference in my boat.

Looks like Aluminum has overtaken Fiberglass.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
