They don’t need current to spawn. I can take to a lake an hour north of Memphis that gets flooded by the Mississippi River. You can just sit in the boat and watch the clouds swim under the boat. It’s millions of them about 2” long.

So your telling me you can tell what kind of fish a 2in fish is swimming in the water,heres a pic for an example.When they are talking about current i know there talking about bighead and silvers,dont know about grass.
