All this hype on Grenada lake and to me it is going down hill, last year was terrible I live close to the lake and was having to fish other lakes to catch fish. And its not me everyone I know that has fished the lake all there life had a terrible year. But the internet has blew it up. It just seems way over fished these days. Did anyone else have the same problem last year.

Just a bad year and the preasure on Grenada pails in comparison to Sardis. Think we will have a good year and last year was a good year for quality but the numbers were low.

Numbers were terrible. usually we catch a pile of short fish 11-12in but this past year I caught 1 fish i had to measure. Which isn't good when the most fish i caught in a day last year at Grenada was 7. We caught fish at sardis but the crowd was crazy.

In 2011 I caught lots of short fish but it's gone steadily down since. Caught very few short fish this past year. Don't know about the pressure but it does seem like Grenada is now on every crappie fishermans' bucket list.

Crappie Masters set new records last year at Grenada. Wasn't bad for everyone. Grenada lake hype

Largest weigh ever recorded in a tourney (20.57), and the biggest fish ever weighed in a Tourney (3.87).

See thats what people see is stuff like that. The day of the tournament is the day i caught the most fish of the year out of grenada 7. And i talked to a pile of tournament fishermen that didnt catch more than 2 or 3. I'm just saying this is my home lake that i've fish all my life and it is down. I know people thats fished it for 50+ years and can catch a crappie out of a bucket of sand that never caught more than 8-10 fish and thats retired people that fish everyday daylight til dark.

We saw tons of fish caught there during the MCC tourney this past fall. My partner and I caught at least 30 keepers each day we fished there. We released em All !!!!!!!!

I hate it for the locals down there. Crappie masters hits that lake twice a year not to mention other clubs. The town loves the attention and they throw money at it and promote it. Can't blame folks trying to make some money. Back to your question I know some locals that fish it and have been saying the same thing. I've never fished there and probably won't. Not on my bucket list.

No different at any of the Big 4. Pressure has outgrown all of em.

We had to move to sardis and enid to catch fish had no problem catching fish on those lakes. Live just down the road from grenada but had to go to other lakes to catch any fish.
