Being an adventurous sort and perhaps a glutton for punishment, I am giving serious consideration to going to the Grenada spillway one of these upcoming nights (supposed to be plenty cold) and trying snagging again. I have not been this year...I don't think. Me and my Pop were down there last week catching cats, and there were several guys catching some pretty nice crappie up in the day. Might be better in the wee hours of the morning.

If I am reading the rule right for Grenada, and that is a BIG IF, the lake is hanging slightly above the rule right now. Does that mean the COE will (might possibly) keep a gate or two open a bit?

Any professional snaggers have a take on this? Good time? Bad time? Likely a waste of time since I don't know what I'm doing! OH oh oh and one more thing, should I take the boat or just stand on the rocks? I was thinking them rocks might be froze over, but again, I'm guessing.
