Yep. Get you some stuff just to get by. Put the pretty lady up front and find some fish for her. The rest will work out. I chauffeured my wife around for a few years running the ipilot from the back of the boat and putting her on fish. She'll figure it out and want to have better gear, then you'll get to borrow her good fishing stuff when you are going by yourself. I knew my wife had it figured out when she turned to me one day and said this trolling pole (a cheapo) wasn't acting like the others to "get rid of it", so I gladly obliged Here is a before and after picture. It didn't happen overnight. She is my very best fishing buddy that likes to have adequate gear for the job.
