    Yep, get 10 times more from the craft section. I used the same beads carolina rigging for green carp, some days I would loose several.

    The bead will give a "CLICK" on a vey lite bite, alot of the time the pole wont move and you are tying to figure out which one it is. Really puts you on alert and will up your catch ratio quick.

    you would think glass would be louder ? But ooo well I have lots of plastic ones and I bought mine in the crafts section also LOL ... looks like we are all cheap skates

    oh last question .. will they slide on braid ? Thats what i am using for a main line.

    They will slide fine with the braid, sometimes they dont want to go all the way to the end but once your line settles pull the line a little bit and let it go and they will slide rite to the end. I thought the glass would be louder too but tied it and they arent. Good luck.
