You just need a longer boat. Then you could use a 16'er. Lol

All I use are the 16's.

I have tried them all pst's c&c and now have the Ozark's. They all have their place and you can catch fish on all of them. I think the Ozark's fit somewhere in between the pst's and the c&c. They still are plenty sensitive yet enough backbone to boat 2lbers without a net. I really liked the c&c's for a long time until I realized how many fish I was missing because of the parabolic bend and the need for a really strong hook set, but on the other hand you can detect bites with the c&c that you'll never know existed on the other two. Pick your poison!

X2, very good and honest assessment of the 3 poles. I to have owned all 3 and IMO you are dead on.

I think you see 99% of the bites you get with the Ozark compared to the Capps and Coleman's, but the C and C just doesn't have the backbone to handle the big fish without a net.

Like Handi said, very accurate assessment TennTom.

Another problem with the C and C's is that you see the bite so early, you have a tendency to take the bait away from the fish by trying to set the hook to soon. I had a lot more short bites with mine for this reason. You have to wait for the fish to commit before you grab the pole.
