surgery went well..doc said he had no problems..took about an hour, which I find amazing..doc's these days are so talented..as expected, pain was a bother, but should get better w/time..will leave in a short while to see her this morning..if all goes well, she may get released today..thank you 5

Just got home and seen the post about Dee. Glad it all turned out good. I guess she had emailed Sandy about it. Glad alls well.
Thank you all!!..has her good moments, and then..up resting now, as we have a drs appt this morning..back to see the surgeon in a weeks time..on another note, uncovered the 5th yesterday..looks as if it did survive the hibernation..will use the next 2 months to ready it for camp..that is our target for Dee..we will get there:pray looks as if spring has shown itself:cheers2 it is so very welcome til.. 5

Hey everybody, it's good to hear most are in good health and catching some slabs. I haven't been posting much just mainly checking in from time to time. We have been real busy with Felices mom, she was diagnosed with cancer 2 years and on the same day she found out was the day the good lord called her home 2 years later. The funeral is set for tomorrow afternoon, I'll be headed that way after work. Just wanted to give you all an update. See you all soon

Dee is improving daily..some days one would not think so, but overall better for sure...be two weeks tomorrow..time does keep on..sad to report, one of my neighbors walked on Saturday afternoon..it is difficult for sure..one must take every opportunity to say hello to..well you know..i feel rather empty...he was a good man..I shall miss him..when ever you get the chance to say 'hello, how are you' please do so, as you may not get to again..I will redouble myself to be a better neighbor..had to vent..hope that all of C.C has a great day..thank you.....5
Glad to hear Dee is doing better. Slow road sometimes. Stay vigilant my friend. Also sorry to hear about the neighbor. You are so right, you never know when you will get another chance to be neighborly.

Brain over at BBGMarine has them. I need to order another one for mounting another TV (fish finder) in my boat. I need one in the back so that when I'm trolling, I don't have to turn around and look at the one on the helm. HDS 8 should do just fine for now but as my eyes get bad, I might have to run a bigger screen! That is my excuse anywayQuote:

I understand the shuffling idea... The power cord is needed for my jeep. That way when I head out west I can snag the HDS7 and my Moab Utah trail map card and plug it in.
Baja racers and King of the Hammers racers have great luck with the Lowrance HDS stuff. I don't have a need, or the money, to permanently mount one in the jeep. But being able to use it a couple times a year would be nice.
Awesome Idea! Lots of us use them on quads and the like in the winter time ice fishing. Make sure you mount it to a good RAM mount and you should be ok.
That does sound like a good idea. It was my brother's and mine plan to use the gps and lake maps this year on the ice to find good points to fish from. Thought the ice didn't cooperate too well this past year.

Spent the day on the lake... Lots of real light bites, but none connected. From 930a to 3p, all I caught was ah hour long nap in the breeze.
