Well here we go again, trucks back in shop transmission still not right and it's still leaking fluid, bad part about that is I had the boat hooked up , soooo.... Now I must go to car wash and scrub her clean for the second time. This is really getting old!!!!
Hope all this is under some kinda warranty. If no warranty, then you need to find a new tranny shop. Sorry Kev. :(

Don,
That is part of the problem I think. It is under warranty as he had the work done originally a couple of months ago. He started having issues with the work right before our first tournament in early April. He has not had his truck for more than 3 consecutive days since that time.
Kev, just a thought but, ask the guy what he would do if he was you. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. They have had three different times to get it right and still cannot do it. It is a transmission. Really not that tough. I think at this point in time, I would ask for my money back so that you can take it to another place to have it done. They have not lived up to their end of the bargain. Sure, they have taken it back every single time but at what cost?
Frustrating.
Call the manufacture and raise HOLY HELL
Well it's at the third tranny shop now, all cost being takin care of by warranty. This time they say it was leaking between the transfer case and the tranny. So we will see. I'm pretty much over the frustration and wanting to choke out individuals.
Dear Tranny shop,
Your screwing with my fishing time!
Please get business cards from those places so we won't go there.:banghead
I have the most amazing family..I am truly blessed..details to follow
had a great family get together yesterday..3 out of 4 daughters, 3 grand kids, 1 SIL..kid #4 was still 'enroute and did not arrive 'till late..oh yea, I was there too..BUT, Dee was not with us..she is in hospital, recovering from open heart surgery..she is doing well..went emergency room Sunday nite with breathing difficulties, and after many tests, a damaged heart valve was found..valve was also infected, so it had to go..was scheduled for Friday, but the docs did not want to wait..surgery was done Tues. afternoon..doc said all went well and she has a new valve, and the infection was removed..our kids were all on their way to see Dee at the time they moved up surgery..Dee is doing well..she is out of cardiac care, and might get to come home on Monday...not sure about that tho..hope..those are the details..it has been a hell of a week for sure..camp, as you might guess, is iffy, at best..not much more to say, certainly when things slow a bit:biggrin the sight of Dee's kids was awesome, she lit up like a XMAS tree..our kids live in NJ, TEX, and SOCAL, so it is a big deal:yikes thanks and keep your family, and friends too, close to your heart always bill
Glad to hear all went well, but I can see why your week has been tough. Will br praying Dee heals quickly and completely. Would be great to see you again at camp, but surely can understand why it's questionable. Have told Carol about meeting you both at fall camp. She is usually with me.

Thanks Don..if we cannot attend, both of us will be disappointed for sure. Dee's best friend lives in AZ., and wants to come and take care of her. How cool is that? They are very close. I did leave the hospital just a while ago, she fell asleep. She is getting better. Thanks again..bill
Dar and I was lucky enough to meet you and your wife at fall camp, It sounds like the family reflects their parents. I hope all are home for the holiday.
Been a rough couple days, My mom passed on. I know the last 18 months was not how she wanted to go out......but she is no longer suffering.

Happy Father's Day to all the Crappie.com dads. Thanks to Bruce and Rich for helping Tonda get me a great gift !!
X2..Happy Fathers Day to all fathers everywhere.:highfive
Keeps minnows alive or beer cold, how could you go wrong! I thought about fishing for fathers day... thought about it. I'm not built for heat. Or speed come to think of it. Think I'll work in the cool basement on a fishing rod I started two years ago.
Happy fathers day to all
Going to Grand Rapids airport today to pick up my wife and granddaughter, they left for Orlando Fl. a week ago to visit with her family. It's been pretty quiet around here for the past week, managed to get in a little fishing, bought a new Silverado truck, think I've got the pesky leak in my boat sealed up (fingers crossed) had my grandson over for a 2 day visit, watered flowers and mowed the lawn, did some grocery shopping, and still got in time at work.........
It feels like I've been the one on vacation
This might be a long shot but what the heck. I'm in the market for a different truck. My 99 GMC is quickly approaching 300,000 miles so I'm starting the search for her replacement. I've searched the dealerships on line and am suffering sticker shock. What I'm looking for is a GMC or Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 extended cab, 5.3 engine. 2012 or 2013. What I'm hoping for is to finding someone who is buying or leasing a new vehicle and was going to trade in their old truck. I could pay more than trade in value so it would be a win for both parties. I'll be buying something within the next month or two so if anybody out there has something that they are looking to get rid of shoot me a PM. Thanks guys. Hope I didn't hurt any feelings by not asking for a Ford or Ram but I'm a GM guy.
Jerry, I just traded in my gently used 2014 Chevy Silverado in at Team One (Charlotte) Im telling you there was nothing wrong with it but I put on 35,000 miles working in Kentucky, and the only reason I traded it in. Loaded.....nice......well taken care of!
My contact there is Simon Nathan, call him and see if he still has it.

Nice looking truck. I'll give him a call but am afraid it might be out of my price range. Darn budgets! My neighbor is also looking for a truck so maybe he'll grab it if I don't.
Still looking for a pickup. No responses on the main forum, how about locally.
Not having much luck with lake st clair other than white bass so my brother and I are heading inland to try out walled lake. Any tips are welcome as we have no idea what we are getting into. Of course we're putting in our research too.

Nevermind. Didn't realize how private walled lake is. Changed our direction to kent lake

I got me a Crappie.com care pckage in the mail yesterday.
I was in need of a new fishing hat, and after seeing Slabsrus looking all fantastic in his "Crappies and Smallies" post wearing a blue one, I knew that was the hat I needed to take my style to the next level.
so I bought one... Which lead to buying a shirt... Which lead to buy some stickers...
And when I opened the box I was surprised to find a couple more stickers and some jig bodies I didn't order...
Thanks Slab. I appreciate the extras!
