121 keepers in 1.5 hrs. Two people. Only kept the fish over twelve inches. Had a lot between 14-16 that day. Arm was killing me when we finished.

Are you using a special bait(jig etc.) or are they just that many fish in your lakes in Oregon that they eat everything up like piranhas fish.
Be safe and good luck fishing

The lake is 3000 acres and the crappie move back into some canals to winter over and there are TONS of fish in there. The lake has a ten fish and Nine inch limit. Every year the crappie numbers and overall size gets better! The lake is no deeper than 10 feet and the lake has lots of stumps and brush. It's a good bass lake too! You could get 1000 crappie in a day If you wanted to work that hard or 1000 perch or 500 blue gill around a pound.

As for baits I love trout magnets in bright colors, the water is a bit off color. I use a small bobber with a single jig. I like to twitch the bobber to get the fish to bite.
