Forever on the hunt for SLAB crappie...
For the Everlasting Glory of the Infantry.ExBassGuide LIKED above post
During this hard water season from the hours of 3PM to 6PM I C&R 137 crappies. Our best fish house C&R catch during the season for two guys was 100 fish in one hour.
It was a fun hard water season.
probally 80-100 but thats not keeper fish, have to be 10in. here to keep them ,30 a person per day also
I can remember when all scaly fish state limit was a hundred and nobody was impressed with a 100 . I am looking for some photos of my dad/granddad that has wash tubs full of crappie in the back of the truck . Many were gotten by dragging green hickory nuts in sloughs , behind a boat, that had been run over by a tractor multiple times . And yes they liked "old Crow "and Falstaff beer .welcome to Mississippi 1950's style .

Last fall i bought 1 scoop of small minnow, about 75-80 minnow there, i start fishing from 11-2:30, and average 1 minnow for two crappies, after i ran out of minnow, then i looking for dead minnow laying around shoreline and keep fishing, crappies size from 9-12 inches
Bull#### I thought these alabama boys could tell one, thats a clear cut Clintonistic story
