I'll go ahead and tell everyone. Me and my crew will be in cabin #9. This is also he cabin we will be eating in. I will make sure we leave it unlocked. If anyone has food that needs to go in the fridge, please feel free to let yourself in and put it in the fridge. Also, in the evening, if you have food that needs to be cooked, or heated up, feel free to come in and utilize the oven or stove. If we are not there it will be fine to let yourself in. Also if you have chairs, you can set the up in front of the cabin. I will make sure to have the crappie.com banner proudly hung out front. Yall are all welcome to hang out in our cabin if you need a place to rest, or relax, or look at some TV. More to come, for sure.............

i think we decided that the pavilion was not secure, and a long way from the cabins. and also the pavilion has to be cleared out by 9pm. and i dont think we can leave our fryers and chairs, etc down there during the day. i am gonna get lance to let me in the group cabin this year on thursday (its booked fri & sat) so i can see it and take pics so everyone else can see it. then we can see about renting it for next year. but everyone feel free to chime in and give your thoughts!!

scott pretty much summed it up. as did jig rig. the one thing you wont be is hungry. LOL

my crew gets there thursday morning around 10 and fishes til around 4. then we check in the cabin and fish most of the day friday. then we strap on the feed bags for a pot luck supper, which normally includes gumbo, jambalaya, boudin balls, butt bites, just to name a few. and more desserts you could ever eat. then we roll ourselves to our bunks and fish most of the day saturday. everone normally donates some of their catch for the fish fry that night. but we also usually have fried shrimp, quail, peanuts, killer hush puppies, and another round of desserts.

we usually have a big fish pot for friday and saturday. normally costs 5$/man/day. paid at supper each night.

then we normally pack up sunday morning and head home. it is the highlight of my fishing year. great stories and even greater friends. i guarantee you will enjoy yourself, and probably catch a mess or two of fish.

    cant wait to see ya!!

cyperwolf....if you get there early enough, fish on Friday, with pot luck dinner that night...everyone just brings whatever they want to, and usually there's a tracking list a little closer to time.

Saturday fish all day, then big fish fry and story telling that night... Lot's of friendly folks, good food, joking, eating, laughing and pictures. And hopefully some good fishing, or it'll be a pizza party Saturday night. LOL
