Doc, I will bring my big canopy tent and lights over and set it up like last year to put the fryers under just in case it rains. also will set up my two burner stove and pots to fry hush puppies and anything else someone needs to fry.

i think we decided that the pavilion was not secure, and a long way from the cabins. and also the pavilion has to be cleared out by 9pm. and i dont think we can leave our fryers and chairs, etc down there during the day. i am gonna get lance to let me in the group cabin this year on thursday (its booked fri & sat) so i can see it and take pics so everyone else can see it. then we can see about renting it for next year. but everyone feel free to chime in and give your thoughts!!

The pavilions will stay reserved for a while just in case we decide to use them. If, by the end of September, we are sure we won't need them, I will cancel the reservation.

The Group Camp is nice. It has a Commercial Kitchen with all the cooking utensils. There are 26 beds on one side for men and 26 beds on the other side for women. Bathrooms on both sides. Big enough to put chairs and tables out for all of us. It would be super nice to have it.

I hear that. Brandon, tree frog, has given me some insight on how to go about getting it booked, maybe even with a discount for next year. I think it would solve many of our issues regarding space and room. We just need 2 groups to go in together so it won't be to expensive for just one group. My group can/will be one of those groups. But we are definitely gonna check into it seriously this year for next year.

How many nights would you need it for. Would you need to Check In on Thursday and Check out Sunday?

There are no set requirements on booking it. But yes. We always go Thursday morning and leave Sunday morning. We book 3 nights each year in our cabin.
