If you plan on fishing Taylorsville much ... do yourself a favor and when the bite slows/stops, spend the rest of your time scanning the banks for brushpiles, stump beds, downed trees, sharp drops, etc. and mark them. Check them out next year, and delete the ones that got flooded away and add any new ones that you find. The spawn is a short-lived affair, but the wood cover will hold them most of the rest of the year (at least until the Sun shines over top of them ... then it's time to run cranks or jigs, or do more scouting).![]()
