I combine the hooks by wrapping them with one layer of thread .Apply epoxy to the hooks with thread base then wrap another layer of thread with a whip finish and final coat of epoxy cure and tie as usual

Thanks theygotaeat I appreciate that. Looks like I will be learning how to make and tie some of these jigs.
