    I leave the eye on and use epoxy soaked thread I've caught crappie, catfish, bass and many nice size fish without any failures

    Can you explain the thread soaking process? And what knots you use.

    I combine the hooks by wrapping them with one layer of thread .Apply epoxy to the hooks with thread base then wrap another layer of thread with a whip finish and final coat of epoxy cure and tie as usual
