We made it to Talquin late Friday, I was told there was a lot of rain last week, and now a cold front rolled in. We spiderrigged minnows sat and went fishless, Sunday I decided to fish were most the boats were, and managed 5 specks with the largest at 1.78 lbs. Wind rain and cold kept me and the wife in the motor home and have decided to head further south in the morning in search of warmer weather. I like Talquin and hope to come back later this month on the way home.
