It would also be interesting to see the effects of setting the "Surface Clutter" setting to its highest setting (less surface clutter filtering)....and then set the "Upper Range" setting (in the 2d view) ...to not even show the upper 3' - 4' of the water column...
I would think that telling the processor to use less filtering (in any part of the processing)...would allow more data to be used for image rendering...(as long as the effects of each of the specific filtering settings do not cause adverse effects in other parts of the image rendering)...
I'm curious if less "Surface Clutter" filtering (in the 2d view)...would affect the data showing in the SI/DI/ or 360 views...
