If they will get the waypoint sharing fixed HB may have a winner on their hands. A Onix 10 on the console and 1198/1199 on the bow would be a potent pair. Not many can afford two Onix 10 units.

The cost could be reduced some by getting just the ONIX CI Combo at the bow like Doug is doing......I am interested to see how that works out.

thats my plan for next year.onix 8 combo with just 2d,mounted at the console.ill move the si/di transducer to the back of my boat and mount the 2d to the trolling motor

You are correct.the offset is displayed different on the onix.(I like much better.the offset range is displayed on the screen)

So, If you are going to vertical fish a spot, you would postion that little white dot over the structure....or fish you are wanting to fish?

Do you have any 360 shots with the range set to a shorter range....say 50 feet? Wondering if the fish would show up better on brush or a stump to sneak up on a brush pile and see if there are any fish on it before you get there.
