Canepole, Do you mean he will not have any I-Pilot controls? I would think when he plugs the foot control back into the control board connection, he will regain motor control also.

You have to completely disconnect the cable from the Ipilot , plug the white/ black wire pair from the control board back into the steer motor and replug the foot pedal cable into where the I pilot was connected (circular plug).

The Ipilot contains its own steering circuit. That is why the steering motor is disconnected from the control board and replugged into the white/black pair from the Ipilot cable. All the other signals remain the same and are in the cable that connects to the control circuit via the circular connector.

My box regenerates the steering voltage for the steering motor and multiplexes the Ipilot controls and the foot controls. 2 in 1 out multiplexer. Pretty basic multiplexer.

CP, I miss read your post. I knew he would lose all I-Pilot functions, but I thought you meant he would only get steering controls and not motor control. Tough getting old!

Cane Pole and Shellback - Thanks for the input on this topic. I did try what you said by switching which black & white wires are hooked up and have full control with the foot pedal if needed. Thanks again guys!

Glad it worked out for you. Been out of town for a few days. A few more parts came in while was gone. One more small part to go.
