There is 51 ohms resistance somewhere. You should be reading something close 50 foot of "wire" and I would believe that is high resistance based on the length of wires involved. This high of a reading could be caused by a corroded connection somewhere in the loop. I will check my unit this week end and get back with you. Can't remember the reading. I usually write stuff like this down for reference. Old age slippin' up on me. ha
The connection is thru the motor housing, not the brushes.
