    Will try that Cane, And yes do have an on board charger , ? 2 bank for TM , and single for cranking,. Thanks

    When you meter between the tm and start negatives after removing the us2 knurled connector, if you do not read on open circuit, try disconnecting one charger output at a time. Might find something there. I am guessing or should say that is what I would instinctively check.

    Also, if your charger does remove the fault, put them back on one at as time, measure continuity, then remove connection, put the next output on, measure continuity, remove, etc. This will check each output individually just in case you have parallel faults.

    Cane , Went from - on start to - on TM batteries , 51 ohms , disconnected US2. went to 0 ohms, connected US2 back went from - Start batt. to US2 conn. same 51 ohms, So seems like this is open but still high res. don't you think ? just if it is a loop should be just the wire . fuse etc, don't you think or does it go through the brushes ??? or I'm I missing something,also did not mess with chargers because of the first test . THANKs

    There is 51 ohms resistance somewhere. You should be reading something close 50 foot of "wire" and I would believe that is high resistance based on the length of wires involved. This high of a reading could be caused by a corroded connection somewhere in the loop. I will check my unit this week end and get back with you. Can't remember the reading. I usually write stuff like this down for reference. Old age slippin' up on me. ha

    The connection is thru the motor housing, not the brushes.

    This is why I want to see a schematic. I read continuity from the negative to the prop shaft. Too many beers tonight....

    Thanks Cane, 51 ohms is what I read and I also think its HIGH also , it's raining down this way today good day to look some more on it , may be loose connection on the pins of the 565 ? or bad crimp on wire ? will check . THANKS

    The prop shaft is connected to the TM housing via motor bushings or bearings. The TM housing is grounded via fuse wire to TM battery wire.
