Not true. I have the terrova with us2. You would not know it was there if you did not look at the bottom of the motor. It is about 2" in diameter. I sticks up into the motor a 1/2 in. I have it hooked to my 788 and it works great. I have the HB transducer on the back of the boat. I flip a switch and it Will read from the front. Flip the switch again it it will read from the back.
