Nice baits you are making. Colors look great and the eyes really add to the bait. Nice Thumbs Up

Usually people do the eyes by putting them on and then redipping in clear plastic to seal up the eyes, or atleast that is one way it is done.

snake one way you can do some of those types are to get you a tail mold and make up a bunch of tails of whatever colors you want for the core color, place those tails in the mold and then shoot clear plastic in over it. It takes some practice to get it right and to get the heat right to keep it from melting and blending it too much, but it can work this way. I am not sure what way others do it but I have found I can sometimes make it happen with this technique. Also with the double tail baits you can do a couple of ways, you can make hollow tubes and take your long tails from your tail mold and stick two up the back end of a tube and put eyes on it and then re-dip it to seal the double tails and eyes in. You can also just hold the two tails and slowly redip a few times in plastic to build it up around the tails, you just have to be careful to keep the hotter plastic from melting the small tails, I would think as it starts cooling down some would be a good time to try it. These are jsut some ways I have done similar stuff in the past. My way is time consuming but it can work if you get it figured out.

I have already done the above that you mentioned without any problems I just have not posted anything because I do not want to get on board those are very time-consuming and they are a beautiful plastic bait that he has done the more labor that you put into the plastic bait or you have to get out of it more time that you were down more money that you will lose but after all I have all the time in the world to mess with plastic baits so I commend Batman on his hard labor and making something so beautiful.

There are people out there that dont mind paying for there baits, I mean come on, some spend 70 grand on a boat, 8 grand on electronics plus rods and want to talk you down in price over a 10 grub. I wont do it. I have made plastic crappie grubs I sold for 75 cents each. but they were worth it, If you put that kind of time in to a bait you have to get your money out of it and a profit or whats the point. If your giving baits away dirt cheap you have not done the math. molds, plastic, coloring. electricity. packaging and time. Its cheaper to just send them money and let them buy them somewhere else.

baitman, I know very well what fisherman will pay for baits, however the average fisherman will pay what he can afford and if another bait performs the same for less money then that is what he will buy. If everyone paid that kind of money or enough would that I could make a good living from it, that is what I would do for a living. I can buy just as effective baits for less than my time it takes me if I was going to sell them to someone else and make money for my time. I just do not have the equipment to be productive enough. Some people have that. You evidentally have taken the time and effort and hard work it takes to build yourself up, you make a darn goodlooking bait. heck if I had the money I would buy your stuff just because how good it looks. You have good prices on your stuff too. However since it would take me forever the way I do it to make those, it is not cost effective for me because I would not make any money on my time or I would have to charge a dollar a bait. You seem to have it all down pat and I congradulate you, you do an awesome job. I also thank you for all the information you have given me in the past to help me get going. You were very generous to me and I appreciate that.
