I had to give up my jig tying business a few years back. Web fees, taxes, supplies, vendors license, business license, gas, and time involved made it cost prohibitive for the amount I was selling and donating to various charities and youth groups. I was just doing it so I could purchase a few medical prescriptions every now and then.

Big brother gov't started to crack down on those who sub rent booth space at flea markets too. Our city has an ordinance that you can only have 2 yard sales a year. Freedom is not free.

Anyway those are super nice. I love those eyes. Wish I had a few. I'd put a few on some baits and see what happens. Anyway, well done! Love them.

those eyes seem to be one of the most expensive parts. I priced them from several places and they are not cheap. I know what you mean about all those fees. It is getting that way everywhere it seems. When I was in TN you could only have like 1 or 2 yard sales a year so people would get together and do them at each others houses together. You also had to pay a fee to have a yard sale. Funny how we pay so much taxes and fees and our country is so broke. We pay fees so that they have the money to impose fees on other things, it is crazy I tell ya.

we do not have to pay anything in the state of Oregon on garage sales and they are by the thousands in the state of Oregon no matter where you go there is some type of garage sale my wife just had one it was unbelievable what the people were buying to give you a example she has some packets of gravy sheet put them out there and they even bought them though they were five years old and they do by the strangest things such as she had a will mop and a broom they even bought them and she had a barbecue that was really dirty and they even bought that we do occasionally stop by around here because this is ranching country and they do have a lot of tools and stuff like that for the farm very interesting because you're able to buy some really antiques of the past sometimes we even get harnesses for horses and of course some of the tools that went along with different types of attachments for horses to pull we have a lot of old wagons that horses used to pull where I live do not even lock the doors at night or during the day working you do that anymore in this country I believe that we are the last of what it used to be everybody here is definitely old fashion in their ways you might say that you can turn the clock back 60 years or more for these people that live here the good thing about here everybody helps one another out if they need them we definitely use each other's farm equipment if we have to use something like that do not mind using each other's machinery.
